A short, honest privacy policy.
Mallorca Taxi is an informational utility. We try to handle as little of your data as possible — here is exactly what happens.
Location
When you tap “Allow location”, your browser shares your approximate position with this page. We use it only to sort taxi ranks by walking distance and to centre the map. Your location never leaves your device — we don't send it to our servers, store it, or share it with anyone.
Cookies
We don't set tracking cookies. The site uses a single local-storage entry to remember the ranks you save as favourites. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see roughly where in the world visitors come from (country and region level). It is cookieless — it never sets a cookie or stores a persistent identifier in your browser. We only see aggregate counts, never individual sessions. No IP address is stored after the page request is served. Because no personal data is processed, no consent banner is required under the GDPR.
Feedback
When you submit the feedback form, we receive your message and — if you provided one — your email address. We store these in our backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU) only as long as the report is open, then delete them.
Third parties
The map is served from OpenStreetMap and CARTO basemap tiles. Tapping a navigation button opens Apple Maps or Google Maps in a new tab — those services have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access to any data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion. Contact us at privacy@mallorcataxiguide.com.
